Due to the strong storms in February 2019, two of the four highways leading up the mountain to PSR were damaged.

All Highways coming up the mountain, including 74, 243, 79 & 371 are now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Construction activity is still present on CA-74 between Hemet and Mountain Center, and on CA-243 between Banning and Idyllwild.  As a result you may be delayed on your way up or down the mountain.
